Discovering Purpose through Service
“My brothers and I spent most of our lives on an
athletic field, where I quicklylearned how important it
was for athletes to stay healthy and functional. I
learned that if one body part was not working properly
that my athletic performance would suffer in all areas.
I also saw this in many of the athletes at my school. I
wanted to learn how to help these athletes prevent
injuries and learn how to make these athletes functional
if they did get injured.
The first time I met our athletic trainers, I knew that
this is what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I
wanted to help get the athletes back functional as
safely as
possible. I began talking with the athletic trainers and
researching how to best
achieve this goal, and set out to accomplish it.”

“God has placed me in this field, and it is my goal
to serve him whole heartedly by doing my best. I am
eager to stay up to date on issues that are
happening in this field, so that I can be of greater
benefit to my athletes. I want all my athletes to
receive the best care that they possibly can, and I
am doing what I can to accomplish this.”
